Client acquisitions elevates Fleet Effect to Australia’s Number 1 Upvise Reseller
November 2018 - Press Release
Based on unprecedented levels of demand from the transport industry for Quality (ISO9001), Environment (ISO14001), Safety (AS/NZS4801) certification, Fleet Effect has rapidly become Australia’s largest Upvise reseller.
"Being able to help transport companies innovate by gaining certification 100% digitally, is something we’d always wanted to offer," a Fleet Effect spokesperson told ATN.
Fleet Effect – based in the Melbourne suburb of Frankston – was founded by Courtney Smith, a “Transport Technology Specialist” who started the business in 2007 by offering custom GPS solutions paired with its own software application, with a focus on digitising the data capture associated with the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS).
"Fleet Effect is happy to take position as Australia’s largest partner for Upvise and has increased employee headcount by 40% off the back of a recent acquisition which included also taking KONE Elevators, Chadwick Geotechnics, Johns Lyng Group, and Roadsafe Asphalt onboard as customers. We’re excited about being able to use Upvise as an integral framework to help companies across Australia buck the trend and gain ISO9001, ISO14001, AS/NZS4801 and OHSAS18001 certification without being bogged down with paperwork,” said the Fleet Effect spokesperson.
“Safety has always been our mantra and now we have the ability to deliver on every level to the transport industry, particularly towards the recent NHVR regulatory changes with CoR. Fleet Effect is very buoyant that they can now help a broader spectrum of Australian transport companies run their operations more efficiently by using digital frameworks to manage compliance and business process.
